THEORY AND HAZARD PERCEPTION TESTS
The Theory/Hazard Perception test must be completed before you can book your practical test and you must pass both parts at the same time.
The Theory test consists of 50 multiple choice questions which will include a case study and you must answer at least 43 questions correctly to gain a pass.
The Hazard Perception test consists of 14 video clips which feature every day road scenes. In each clip there'll be at least one developing hazard, but one of them will feature two developing hazards. You’ll need to respond to the developing hazard early to achieve a high score. The maximum you can score on each hazard is five and the pass mark is 44 out 75.
I can provide guidance on both parts with the aid of books and DVD’s
